【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsforageneralizedexchangeformatwhichwillholdrecordsdescribingallformsofmaterialcapableofbibliographicdescriptionaswellasothertypesofrecords.Itdoesnotdefinethelengthorthecontentofindividualrecordsanddoesnotassignanymeaningtotags,indicatorsoridentifiers,thesespecificationsbeingthefunctionsofanimplementationformat.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesageneralizedstructure,aframeworkdesignedspeciallyforcommunicationsbetweendataprocessingsystemsandnotforuseasaprocessingformatwithinsystems.
