【摘要】:Thispracticesetsforthguidelinesfortheselectionandsafeuseofmetalremovalfluids,additives,andantimicrobials.Thisincludesproductselection,storage,dispensing,andmaintenance.Water-misciblemetalremovalfluidsaretypicallyusedathighdilutionanddilutionratesvarywidely.Additionally,thereispotentialforexposuretoundilutedmetalremovalfluidasmanufactured,aswellasmetalremovalfluidadditivesandantimicrobials.Straightoilsgenerallyconsistofaseverelysolvent-refinedorhydro-treatedpetroleumoil,asyntheticoil,orotheroilsofanimalorvegetableorigin,includingoilsthataremodifiedforperformancecharacteristics(forexample,esterifiedrapeseedoil,andsoforth).Straightoilsarenotintendedtobedilutedwithwaterpriortouse.Additivesareoftenincludedinstraightoilformulations.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
