【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscastalloysteelsinthenormalizedandtemperedorquenchedandtemperedcondition,insectionsizesthrough37in.(940mm),suitableforhighstraingradientconditionssuchasthoseencounteredinhooks,shackles,supportframes,andotherliftingdevices.Theclassesofsteelinthisspecificationareweldableonlywithqualifiedprocedures.1.2Sectionrangeandclassselectionwilldependondesignandserviceconditions.Usersshouldnotethatthisspecificationcontemplatesmechanicalpropertygradients.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformitieswiththespecification.Inch-poundunitsareapplicableformaterialorderedtothisSpecificationandSIunitsformaterialorderedtothisSpecification.1.4If,byagreement,castingsaretobesuppliedinapartiallycompletedcondition,thatis,alloftheprovisionsoftheproductspecificationhavenotbeenfilled,thenthematerialmarking(seeSection15)andcertification(seeSection14)aretoreflecttheextenttowhichtheproductspecificationrequirementshavebeenmet.
