【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversflexiblechlorinatedpolyethylene(CPE)sheetingwhichisusedwithoutmastic,bedding,orcoatingforconstructionofconcealedwater-containmentmembranesinapplicationswherethereispotentialforcostlysecondarydamagefromleakage,andwhereverylong-termreliableperformanceisessential.Examplesarefountains,pools,planters,showerandsafepans,tiletubs,andsimilarinstallationswherethemembraneisinaccessibleonceconstructioniscomplete.Includedarerequirementsforcomposition,strengthandtoughness,testmethods,workmanshipcriteria,andmethodsofmarking.1.2Manufacturershavetheoptiontouserecycledmaterialsinthisproduct.RecycledmaterialsmustbeinaccordancewiththerequirementsinSection4.1.3Thetestmethodsusedtocharacterizethesheetingareintendedtoensurequalityandperformanceandarenotnecessarilyadequatefordesignpurposes.Testmethodshavebeenselectedtobeconductedprimarilywithliquidsthatsimulatetheenvironmentstowhichthemembranewillbesubjectedduringactualinstallationanduse.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverwater-containmentmembranesexposedinusetoultravioletlightordirectsunlight.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section14,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
